ZANZIBAR
Seaweed is Zanzibar’s third largest source of income. Each day at low tide these incredible women walk out to harvest seaweed from their tidal farms.
I was reading Stephen Fry’s “Mythos” which inspired the titles of each photograph.
These images were taken at Pwani Mchangani, Zanzibar in 2021 using a 1953 Rolleiflex on Kodak Portra film. Scanned and printed at Wetink design.
These images are available as limited edition prints.
